Living Waters Christian Education Center Inc. was conceived in June 1990 in Hampton, Virginia. While in attendance at the Annual Minister’s Conference, the anointing of the Holy Spirit moved upon Dr. Edward D. Roberts to teach the Bible.
Dr. Roberts returned to New Jersey with an urgency to teach the lessons of the Bible. After receiving permission from his pastor, the late Bishop John H. Roberts, he taught his first lesson from the book of Romans, Chapter 8. The anointing and the abundance of knowledge and wisdom concerning the Word of God confirmed his call to the teaching ministry.
In June 1999, Living Waters Christian Education Center Inc. became fully accredited to teach certificate and degree curriculum in Christian Education.
On Monday, September 13, 1999, Living Waters Christian Education Center Inc. celebrated its “Grand Opening!” Twenty-four (24) students registered for programs in General Bible I, General Bible 2, Post-Graduate 1, Masters, and Doctorate.
Living Waters celebrated its first annual commencement exercises for the Class of 2000 on Sunday, June 11, 2000 at 3:00P.M. at Eastern Bible Institute in Irvington, New Jersey. Sixteen (16) graduates received “Certificates in Evangelism” for completion of the first-year curriculum and one (1) graduate received a “Certificate in General Bible 2” for completion of the two-year program.
Dr. Roberts and the Living Waters’ family now celebrate their partnership with Freedom Bible College and Seminary! And they look forward to the future semesters and all of the accomplishments that they will bring.
